About Dave
For nearly 20 years I was the Controller at Kirkhill Aircraft Parts Company (KAPCO). KAPCO is a manufacturer and distributor of commercial aviation parts. In 1988 the Company initiated an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) which allowed the employees to participate in ownership of the business. The ESOP changed the culture of KAPCO. Employees were invited to participate in quarterly meetings and were updated on the Company’s performance. They quickly learned that earnings and share price had a direct correlation. Visitors often noted how much the employees seemed to care about their company and were proud of where they worked. It was and remains true today.
My wife and I have been blessed to be married to each other for 26 years. We live in Irvine, CA where we are raising our four sons. We attend Voyagers Bible Church. In June, 2008 I graduated from The Masters Program (TMP), a three year Christian leadership training program. TMP had had a life changing effect on the way I look at life. I wish to make a difference in the people and world around me. One result of TMP has been my becoming involved with Hillview Acres Children’s Home where I volunteer as their CFO. I hope you will visit their site Hillview.org and see the good work that is going on there.
I would love to share a cup of coffee with you and learn more about your business.
